Proactive Clubhouse Closure in Effect Starting March 16th

Good afternoon Clubhouse members,

After much consideration and consultation with our community we have decided to temporarily close the Connections Place clubhouse until such a time that we can operate safely without the threat of negatively impacting the health of our members and staff.

Clubhouse communities around the world are currently determining what their next steps should be in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus and protecting their staff and members from this disease. We have decided that implementing an intentional temporary shutdown is the most effective step that we can take to protect our community’s ongoing health and wellbeing.

We will be following the recommendations from the BC Center for Disease Control (BCCDC) and Island health Authority as well as assessing the need to be closed on a weekly basis, moving forward.
