Connections Place Xandra Harris

Xandra grew up on Vancouver Island, and completed her bachelor’s in Writing at UVic. She worked in restaurants, cafes, and retail before coming to Connections. Volunteer work with vulnerable populations helped foster her interest in mental health. Some of Xandra’s favourite hobbies are long walks, ocean dips, and board/card games. She is very excited to be a part of Connections Place and learn new things every day.

Connections Place serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island and the south Gulf Islands that are located in the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples.

We acknowledge our traditional hosts and honour their graciousness to the Clubhouse community and the ways we work, socialize, and advocate for wellness on these ancestral lands.
